چکیده

This paper proposes the process to predict and analyze the conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI) emission using the impedance mismatch approach. Five steps of this process are introduced and analyzed. The impedance mismatch criterion is proposed based on current and voltage waveforms in time domain. The impedance mismatch fixtures and EMI measured results show how the relationship of impedance ratio and conducted EMI emission are occurred. This work is done using a class E zero-voltage switching (ZVS) resonant inverter at various loaded conditions: unity, lagging and leading power factors. The experimental results show some good agreements with the simulated results, which are accomplished by MATLAB program.

Prediction of the Conducted EMI from DC-DC Switched-Mode Power Converters

This paper presents theoretical estimation of the conducted electromagnetic emissions from a SMPS, based on Fourier analysis. The theory is applied to a buck converter. The comparison between the theoretically estimated and measured EMI shows that the CM EMI was well predicted. Up to 3 MHz the measured DM noise was much lower than the predicted one, which could be because of unknown DM noise so...

Conducted EMI of Switching Frequency Modulated Boost Converter

In this paper conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI) of boost converter with switching frequency modulation (SFM) is theoretically analyzed in details. In the analysis line impedance stabilization network parameters, power inductor and input filtering capacitor parameters are taken into account. The analysis shows that the conducted EMI attenuation due to the use of SFM depends not only o...

The Effect of Distributed Parameters on Conducted EMI from DC-Fed Motor Drive Systems in Electric Vehicles

The large dv/dt and di/dt outputs of power devices in DC-fed motor drive systems in electric vehicles (EVs) always introduce conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI) emissions and may lead to motor drive system energy transmission losses. The effect of distributed parameters on conducted EMI from the DC-fed high voltage motor drive systems in EVs is studied. A complete test for conducted EM...
